OUR STORY
TULA was founded in April 2015 by a team of educators and education experts.
Over the last decade, they had individually helped improve public and private school systems across the world. However, they found that schools were struggling and millions of busy parents wanted to further invest in education to supplement schooling and help their children grow. So they worked on applying innovative new learning models to help children prepare for the 21st century.
TULA is based on innovative practices pioneered by world-leading education institutions from the USA, the UK, Singapore, Australia, and across the globe.
OUR GOALS
TULA aims to reach as wide as the largest global tutoring chains and transform after-school learning for millions of children in Asia and beyond. TULA has the ambition to challenge school as the norm and the sole place in which education happens. Schools are doing their best to help kids learn and grow but it takes a while for schools to implement changes. Most startups focus on helping schools improve. Our focus is on improving learning that exist outside of these institutions using best practices from the world’s leading education innovators, psychologists and neuroscientists, and employers of the future.
OUR IMPACT
“My daughter, Ailish, told me that she not only learned the real meaning of bravery, collaboration, grit, resilience, and optimism, but learned how to apply it in her everyday life. She also learned how to think of a solution in every problematic situation she’s in step-by-step, and when asked how she was able to think about it, she told us “I learned that from TULA!”
